Dear HTML editor
From the HTML 4.01 Specification available at the address below
http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/
I' ve found impossible to understand what is the current value of
a checkbox or of a radio button. The documentation clearly
explains
- what a successful control is;
- that the name of a successful control is paired with the current
value of the control when submitted.
- what a successful radio button or checkbox is;
but it fails to explain what the current value is for the above
mentioned control types like explained in 17.2.1 for "text
input".
Best regards
