window 7 upgrade

Dear Sir
I am trying to run a compatability test on my pc to see if I would be able to upgrade to Windows 7(I'm on Vista at the moment)
Unfortunately every time I run the prorgamme an error message appears under your web address and the programme stalls.!
Can you help and advise how we can overcome this problem.
