Hi, This is a QA Review comment for "XHTML Role Attribute Module" http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-xhtml-role-20060725/ 2006-07-25 1st WD About http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-xhtml-role-20060725/#s_role_module_attributes The specifications says: "It is used by applications and assistive technologies to determine the purpose of UI widgets." We are not sure that the role attribute is only limited for UI widgets. Is it really the case? If someone where defining a list of values for calendars or addresses with only a better semantic purpose, would it be a non conformant usage or role attribute? -- Karl Dubost - http://www.w3.org/People/karl/ W3C Conformance Manager, QA Activity Lead QA Weblog - http://www.w3.org/QA/ *** Be Strict To Be Cool ***
