There is no namespace. The XHTML 1.0 DTD says, for the HTML element: "xmlns %URI; #FIXED 'http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'" This means that there must be an attribute 'xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"'. Without, the browser does not know it is XHTML, and treats it like generic XML. ~Grauw -- Ushiko-san!
