As CSS3 now defines an image-orientation property to control the rotation of images in page layout, the mechanism discussed in Appendix A.3 of XHTML-Print [1] utilizing EXIF app markers should be removed. Section 2.4 of <http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/CR-xhtml-print-20040120/> XHTML-Print discusses optional CSS style sheet capabilities. It should likewise be removed as these capabilities are independent of XHTML-Print. (This topic was discussed at the Nov 9 wg f2f.)
