META http-equiv="refresh" syntax

Is there any way of passing a target tag to this meta tag, in order to force 
the refresh to link to another page in a different window??

Such as:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="2; TARGET=_blank; URL=../addguest.html">

If not, this may be a useful consideration for future development...
