I attempted to download the HTML 4.01 PDF (gzipped) Specification from the w3.org website, and cannot open the gzip file using windows zip applications, or Linux gzip command. it gives an error as an invalid gzip file. The same thing occurs when I attempt to open the HTML 4.01 PS file (also gzipped).
