Hi there,
I took a look at the new XHTML recommendation and attempted to load an
example from the document in IE5. (I used the 'minimal XHTML document'
example). After I downloaded html1-strict.dtd and put it into a DTD
directory, the browser reported that:
The system cannot locate the resource specified. Error processing resource
'xhtml-lat1.ent'. Line 29, Position 11
%HTMLlat1;
If I remove this entry in the DTD and the other two similar ones below it,
everything seems to run smoothly. I am wondering why this error was thrown;
is it a Microsoft XML issue or is there an error in the DTD?
I apologize for my lack of familiarity with DTD's; I have only worked with
XML schemas.
Thanks,
Alan Weissman
