In section 6.12 [1], the link type alternate should probably mention that if used in combination with other link types, it implies that the link is to an alternate form of the other link types involved. Otherwise it disagrees with rel="alternate stylesheet", which is defined later in the spec. [2] As it stands right now, the current definition of "alternate" makes "alternate stylesheet" mean a link that is both a stylesheet and an alternate version of the document.
