Hi, I suppose someone there participates the www-html list (to which I just sent a note similar to this one), but just to make sure this information reaches the relevant people: My document http://www.hut.fi/home/jkorpela/HTML4.0/comments.html contains a rather long, partially detailed, review of the HTML 4.0 draft. The main conclusion is that the next step should be to concentrate on creating a set of additions to HTML 3.2 by picking up from the HTML 4.0 draft the OBJECT element, the language support, the INS and DEL elements, added named character entities, and possibly some more. The next after that would be to consider the creation of better structured language, with features like fully nestable sections, rich markup for different kinds of emphasis, tables with columns specified structurally, and basic mathematical markup. However, even if the work proceeds as a refinement of the HTML 4.0 draft, I hope that some comments of mine will be of some help. Yucca, http://www.hut.fi/home/jkorpela/
