Some editorial comments to HTML 4.0 (draft of 8 July 1997) -- p. 14, the word "dissuasive" will lead to confusion. I believe you wish to mean "fails to be persuasive" whereas it actually means "is persuasive of a negative conclusion." Recommend you use plainer language, here. -- p. 17, The bald assertion that numeric entities "end with a semicolon" is inaccurate. See note at p. 30 and fix p. 17 accordingly. -- p. 52. Where it says "englobing" I believe you mean to say "enclosing." -- Al Gilman
