Hi, I took a look at 27-June-1997 draft of HTML4, and found some errors related to I18N. I checked the archives of HTML WG, and as Lauren Wood has correctly pointed out in <URL:http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-html-wg/ 1997JulSep/0061.html>, example of including charset information in charset.html should not be <META http-equiv="Content-Type" Content="text/html" charset="ISO-2022-JP"> but <META http-equiv="Content-Type" Content="text/html; charset=ISO-2022-JP"> And also, as Misha Wolf has pointed out in <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/ Member/w3c-html-wg/1997JulSep/0071.html>, some examples of attribute value of LANG attribute in struct/dirlang.html are wrong. You know, HTML4 is the first specification from W3C which can handle non-western-european languages. This is VERY VERY important step, so please show correct examples. I'm not a member of HTML WG, so excuse me if these errors have already been fixed. Regards, -- Masayasu Ishikawa / mimasa@w3.org W3C - World Wide Web Consortium
