Alain, I dont think what you are asking about is specifically to do with xforms, but as you asked the question ... I have looked into this in the past and have 2 suggestions 1) You could use the "389 Directory Server" http://directory.fedoraproject.org/ http://port389.org with the DSML gateway http://directory.fedoraproject.org/wiki/DSML_Gateway although it may be possible to just use the gateway with a regular Ldap server. Or 2) Use the castor dsml api and write your own web application http://castor.codehaus.org/1.3rc1/javadoc/org/exolab/castor/dsml/package-summary.html Both these solutions use java. I plan to do exactly what you mention using the DSML gateway and xforms for the user interface. If you have any more questions you can contact me directly. Hope that helps. Andy Bailey
