Hi John, I will ask the team to post the test report. Obviously we are testing against the test suite. Best regards, Jeroen From: John Boyer [mailto:boyerj@ca.ibm.com] Sent: Wednesday, December 17, 2008 7:49 PM To: VanRotterdam, Jeroen Cc: www-forms@w3.org Subject: Re: XForms 1.1 implementation Hi Jeroen, This is very exciting news. Congratulations on your release. Your conformance level to the specification is very good, and on behalf of the W3C Forms working group, I would like to ask if you could provide an implementation report of your XForms 1.1 engine. Having the documented knowledge of which tests you pass will greatly help the working group to advance XForms 1.1 to full recommendation. An example of the report is here: http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/2008/XForms11ImplReports/FFplugins/Result sTable.html <http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/2008/XForms11ImplReports/FFplugins/Resul tsTable.html> The test suite is here: http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/Test/XForms1.1/Edition1/driverPages/html/ <http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/Test/XForms1.1/Edition1/driverPages/html /> Please let us know if this will be possible. It would be a great service to the W3C if it were possible as we would use your implementation report as part of the requirements to advance XForms 1.1 to proposed recommendation, which is the version that the fulll W3C then decides upon for full recommendation. Participating in this way has obvious implications for raising awareness of the availability of your processor. Thank you, John M. Highlights: - GWT implementation deployable as a pure javascript engine without any server requirements - Over 90% compliant to the XForms 1.1 spec. limitations: o No XML Schema types support o Only basic serialization as application/xml is currently supported - Several enhancements beyond XForms 1.1, especially support for layout documents Enhancements are implemented as pure enhancements on top of the core XForms 1.1 implementation Best regards, Jeroen Jeroen van Rotterdam General Manager XML Solutions EMC Corporation mail: VanRotterdam_Jeroen@emc.com voice: +31 10 2818080
