PicoForms is pleased to announce today its plan to release a version of its XForms engine as a plug-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer (compatible with IE versions 6 and 7). With this release PicoForms will be able to offer its customers a comprehensive range of deployment options for their XForms based applications, from mobile phones and PDAs to the desktop browser. PicoForms' plug-in reuses the same algorithms as its other products, so application logic is executed consistently whatever platforms your applications are deployed to. The plug-in has no dependencies on any third party components and has excellent support for standards such as XPath 1.0 and XML Schema 1.0, that XForms is directly dependant upon. So, if you need to deploy sophisticated, data-driven applications on Internet Explorer, or anywhere else, talk to PicoForms.
