Hello all, A fully functioning RSS reader written entirely in XHTML and XForms is now available. It currently works as a side-bar in the latest version of formsPlayer, but could easily be supported in other XForms processors. The application also demonstrates: * using states to drive complicated forms, with xf:bind and @relevant; * using CSS and xf:bind to render a 'tabbed dialog' look, without having to use script; * some of the new features of formsPlayer, such as: - the 'cookie:' protocol which allows saving and loading of instance data to and from the file system (without requiring dialog box prompts); - 'system tray' messages using xf:message. Other new features in version 1.3 are: * 'system tray' icons; * @relevant and @validate from the XForms 1.1 draft. Download details are available in the latest formsPlayer bulletin, issued yesterday, which also has screenshots of the RSS reader and a link to a video showing the application in action: <http://www.formsPlayer.com/news/bulletin-2005-02-02.html> Best regards, Mark Mark Birbeck CEO x-port.net Ltd. e: Mark.Birbeck@x-port.net t: +44 (0) 20 7689 9232 w: http://www.formsPlayer.com/ b: http://internet-apps.blogspot.com/ Download our XForms processor from http://www.formsPlayer.com/
