BACKGROUND Since 1998 Mandoforms (www.mandoforms.com) has provided a richly featured alternative to HTML Forms using XML (which was introduced earlier that same year) to store the e-form definition. Mandoforms provides a set of tools (the Mandoforms Developer Kit) to allow e-forms to be quickly developed by non-technical users and stored as XML documents. Our separate Enterprise Server converts this XML into the appropriate format for browsers running on a variety of platforms, meeting the W3C's WAI AAA accessibility rating where required. The Server also provides full support for multi-page e-forms, and the processing of submitted e-forms. ANNOUNCEMENT Now that the XForms standard is nearing completion we wish to lend our support by providing XForms capability within our product set. As such the Mandoforms Developer Kit can now be used to create XForms. Existing e-forms stored in our own XML format can also be converted into XForms where required.
