Stepping down as co-chair of the W3C XForms WG

Dear forms community,

I have decided to step down as co-chair of the W3C XForms
Working Group for its next, upcoming charter period.

I will continue to be a member of the XForms WG and look
forward to the ongoing work on XForms.

Whenever I post to this list in the future, I will be speaking only
on behalf of myself and not on behalf of the WG.

Steven Pemberton remains the chair of the XForms WG, and
together with the fine members of the working group,
XForms is in very good hands.

I've been actively involved with XForms for more than three
years, since it started. As XForms 1.0 finalizes and the work on
XForms 2.0 slowly begins (ideas and comments are most welcome
on this list), I feel that I have succeeded in helping us on our mission
of developing the next generation of web forms. It's been a wonderful
time working together with the group, this community and everyone
involved with the creation of XForms and I look forward to the future.

This is not a goodbye from XForms or the W3C. Chairing a working
group can involve a lot of time and energy, and after all these years,
I believe my energies are now best used in other XForms-related
areas and tasks...

I would like to take the opportunity to express my very special
thanks to Dave Raggett, Larry Masinter and the Stack Overflow
Team, without whom XForms wouldn't have been possible in the
very beginning.

Thank you, and as we say in german,

Es war mir eine Ehre,

- Sebastian :-)
