Hi Jérôme, IMO, the first question is easy to answer: It is indeed possible to have multiple <bind> elements for the same data item. The second question is actually more interesting. I'd favour "last one counts", but we definitely have to discuss this in the Working Group. Hope it helps at least a little bit, Josef > -----Original Message----- > From: Jérôme Nègre [mailto:jerome.negre@ecl2000.ec-lyon.fr] > Sent: Thursday, October 04, 2001 6:04 PM > To: www-forms@w3.org > Subject: [repost] Several bind elements for the same instance > data item > ? > > > Hi, > > is it possible for an instance data item to have several > <bind> elements > bound to it ? > > Something like this: > <xform:bind ref='a/b//*' type='xsd:string'/> > <xform:bind ref='a/b/c' required='true'/> > > If yes, what happens when two model item properties > contradict each other ? > Should we keep the first/last one ?
