Hi... of course. Whatever is a legal URI (--> RFC 2396) is allowed, and if the URI happens to be dereferenceable by HTTP something happens. The name-value-pair mechanisms are well-understood (though not necessarily well integrated yet). On the other hand, I must admit that I'm still way behind on an age-old promise to do some stuff around _what_ actually happens to submitted XML data.
