Thanks for spotting the typo. We explicitly say "schema constraints" because there are XForms constraints e.g. 'required' --that are not "schema constraints". Schema constraints are indeed schema constraining facets e.g. take a string and then create a weekday type out of it-- however when we say "schema constraints" we really meant "all constraints on the instance that are being provided by the schema"-- this would include schema constraint facets --but more e.g. type constraints specified by the schema. Hope this helps-- Also, with regard to how to increase participation in the public list --I'm open to suggestion. I dont have direct access to the membership list for the public WWW-forms list --so I dont know how many subscribers that list has. -- Best Regards, --raman ------------------------------------------------------------ IBM Research: Human Language Technologies Phone: 1 (408) 927 2608 Fax: 1 (408) 927 3012 Email: tvraman@us.ibm.com WWW: http://www.cs.cornell.edu/home/raman PGP: http://emacspeak.sf.net/raman.asc Snail: IBM Almaden Research Center, 650 Harry Road San Jose 95120
