Dear Michael, We will defer the adoption of XPath 2.0 until a later version (probably XForms 2.0) due to reasons we mentioned in an earlier reply. Therefore we can't use the XPath 2.0 description of evaluation context. Moreover the evaluation context section (now 7.2) is also very precisely tailored to our needs based on XPath 1.0, which we must use for XForms 1.1. It also accounts for content repetition that XForms performs, which is why the section contains more information than what might be described for the evaluation context of a single XPath expression.
