Dear XForms WG, There is a strong demand among web developers for improved means for authentication, authorization and identification facilities on web sites. HTTP provides sufficient, architecturally sound and quite usable facilities for most applications, but due to lack of proper means for integrating these facilities in web sites, web developers are forced to use improper means like session IDs in URIs or cookies to accomodate. Relying on such facilities typically reduces usability, accessibility security and privacy features of the site for its users. Please include a requirement in the XForms 1.1 Requirements document to address HTTP Authentication integration in XForms 1.1, probably along with XHTML 2.0 integration. Thanks.
