Congratulations on your "XForms 1.0" Candidate Recommendation [1]. One comment before the deadline. The image after the example for the 'secret' element [2] says, "Please enter your password --it will not be visible as you type.." The "*" characters are visible. They can be counted, and that makes the password easier to guess. I would either call the element 'obscure' (or something else), or maybe the image could say the password "will be displayed as asterisks as you type."
