Alistair Coles, Your issue sent to the W3C XForms WG about the XForms Last Call Working draft http://www.w3.org/TR/2002/WD-xforms-20020118/ Your issue is archived at http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-forms-editor/2002Jan/0030.htm XForms WG Resolution: The description of the processing for the xforms-revalidate event now says: The default handling for the xforms-revalidate event must satisfy the following conditions: 1. All instance data nodes in all instance elements in the model are checked against any specified XML Schema. 2. All instance data nodes in all instance elements in the model are checked against any bound model item properties which define constraints on the value. i.e. required, constraint, minOccurs, maxOccurs. 3. The XForms Processor must dispatch the appropriate xforms-valid or xforms-invalid event to all form controls that are bound to instance data nodes in the model. "constraint" is the new name for what was "isValid" Please respond to state that you agree with this Resolution. Thierry.
