Note that in my previous message, [1] Methods For Sending Out of Band Binary with XForms (http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-forms/2000OctDec/att-0067) And [2] SOAP Messages with Attachments (http://static.userland.com/weblogsCom/gems/soapweblogscom/soapMessagesWithA ttachments.html) have been superseded by http://www.w3.org/TR/SOAP-attachments . In particular I draw attention to the HTTP example at http://www.w3.org/TR/SOAP-attachments#HTTPBinding with an example showing an HTTP POST including an XML body and two attachments that constitutes an automobile insurance claim. The XML body is transmitted as a text/xml document containing the claim data, and is transmitted along with a facsimile image of the signed claim form (claim.tiff) and a digital photo of the damaged car (car.jpeg).
