Problem with Russian charset(s) in form request

Hello List,

(this email is koi8-r encoded)

I encounter problem sending requests to www.yandex.ru and rambler.ru via
any of www4mail servers.
    No Russian charsets accepted, though i used options
XLANGUAGE=ru&XCHARSET=koi8-r (it's my mailer outgoing charset).
I also tried to convert cp866 or windows-1251 codes to unicodes i.e.
а=%A0 б=%A1 etc. and formed request replacing cp866 (or windows-1251)
codes with unicodes.

No go.

Please give me an advice how to send request to Russian search engine
using Collaborium or Bellanet or Trieste www4mail servers ?
