Re: searching web by e-mail?

Please send a message to www4mail@wm.ictp.trieste.it and in the body of
the message place the lines:

help forms
help xformreply

The replies will give you information on searching the web using www4mail.

www4mail does not provide support for the getweb SEARCH facility, however
it allows you to directly search any search engine of your choice by
e-mail.
So the answer is YES it is possible to search ALTAVISTA, YAHOO, HOTBOT and
co.. BUT not in the manner in which you think..
