Dear Clement, I had a closer look at the subject and found that it's not www4mail that prepends a request URL comment and BASE tag to text/html source outputs, but lynx. However, Lynx Version 2.7.2 (1997) does supply the trailing slash after the server host name. Which version of lynx are you using? Nevertheless, please forgive me for blaming www4mail of the misbehaviour. Merry Christmas, Dietmar
