Hi Kai, > Where does that leave this list and "di"? *Sigh* > I would like more information. Member only links. :/ the charter links are public : http://www.w3.org/2005/01/BPWGCharter/Overview.html http://www.w3.org/2005/01/DDWGCharter/Overview.html and they are describing in details the work planned in MWI. There is no overlap with di scope but association and cooperation. both DDWG and BPWG are not chartered to develop new technologies but more to define best practices / guidelines for content authoring (BP) and to provide a database of device info to complement existing technologies (cc/pp and uaprof) to make them more useful for content adaptation. a shortcut is tat bpwg and ddwg will be customers of technologies developed in diwg. they will also provide specific requirements. this difference in scope would be reflected in the lists (i hope): - discussion on how to author adaptable web content, what are specificity of mobile content, ... are going to take place on public-bpwg - discussion on what to put on a device description db, how to access the info, trust model, ... are going to take place on ddwg-public - discussion about new technologies under development (eg di select diwg just published), or futur are going to stay on www-di - discussion about cc/pp is going to stay on www-mobile does that answer your question ? -- Stephane Boyera stephane@w3.org W3C +33 (0) 4 92 38 78 34 BP 93 fax: +33 (0) 4 92 38 78 22 F-06902 Sophia Antipolis Cedex, France
