A while ago I sent a request to this list asking for clarification about the relationship between CC/PP and SyncML. I've produced a report, primarily for contribution to the device independence activity, that overviews CC/PP, SyncML and UPnP. This may be of interest to people on this list. Current Technologies For Device Independence HPL-2001-83 Abstract: Increasing numbers of users want to access web content from devices such as WAP phones or PDA's. Creating content for each device would be expensive and time consuming. This report provides a survey of current technologies related to the creation of device independent web content and web applications.
