Yawas for Firefox

I just adapted YAWAS for Firefox.
You are welcome to download and modify it.
It allows you to highlight web pages.
All annotations are stored in a local file as plain text and there is a simple search engine included to retrieve your annotations.
Highlights are automatically recreated when you revisit a page, unlike the version for IE that required you to manually select View from the context menu.

I hope you find it useful. The source code is included of course (simply rename .xpi to .zip) and you can see the content of the package - standard extension stuff in Firefox).

My hope is that this first version will be picked up and used in the context of the semantic web or by the folks at w3c doing Annotea. I can't spend more time right now on it.
