Hi, Amaya 11.4.4 on Mac OS X 10.8.4 seems to have alot of problems updating display of text as soon as I start to rearrange it. Page up and Page down will clear the problem, until my next rearrangement. :-) But I'm writing because Amaya appeared to hit an infinite loop after I entered a dozen or so control-spaces. I sent Amaya different signals with Activity Monitor - View - Send Signal to Process to try and get its attention but had no luck until SIGQUIT ended it. When I restarted Amaya, it asked me if I would like to load backup documents. Great, except for one thing: there was no way to answer the question. I tried everything. Fortunately, I'd taken a screenshot of the screen before handing Amaya the SIGQUIT with OS X's Grab and saved it to file. I uploaded the resulting .TIFF to http://www.onlineocr.net/ and it did a great job recognizing its text so i could paste it back into a renewed Amaya. Please give the OS X platform more loving. best, George (I'm not subscribed to this mailing list so please consider cc:'ing me if you respond.)
