Hello developers, translators, and interested parties, My first thought was... YEEES! But I still would like to add or annotating: Item 3: Can not use any >custom setting< be inserted? (2 is my personal preference ;-) (5) The source code can be represented even in color. Can you (so I can't) also install a check box so the user can decide whether an "automatic line break" is to take place in the source view or not? It is simply difficult to read its own source code when Amaya formatted source code view, after entering a <a ...> or <p ...> @Wishlist: My greatest wish now (yes, the season would be right in principle) use a formatted source code view (as in Firefox with installed add-on "Web Developer Toolbar, see https: / / addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/60). Must be even less colorful, but it would still user friendly. OK, default built-in - _and_structured_constructed_ - source text view of other browsers (FF, O, etc.) is already enough... (5.1) Now could in the 'Colors' tab framed everything and completely move in the tab "Geometry" (or "View" or "General"). Merry Christmas and a happy new year Jörg > Preferences could include a number of items that I think would enhance using > Amaya. > > A few that come to mind: > 1. Default view (None, Structure, Source, Links, Alternate, Table of > Contents), perhaps make part of geometry settings > 2. Default fonts (font family and size) for each view, and for the GUI This one seems useful, specially for defining the font used in source view. The fonts used in the GUI should use the current system theme defaults, IMHO (which is probably what the GUI framework is already doing?). > 3. Number of spaces equivalent for TAB key This also sounds useful as well. I generally find a good practice using tab for indenting, but editors which don't allow me to override the tab size and use 8 by default (4 is my personal preference) make the source code to become too wide... > 4. Default folder for >Files (setup defaults to Documents and Setting/user/) > > Regards, > > Bill B Good suggestions, Bill! :-) Cheers, Helder
