You may have selected it by mistake in the setup, having it selected from a previous installation or even associated ".htm" manually using the "Open with..." option in Windows Explorer: I can't reproduce this. If you upgraded your previous install, didn't select the ".htm" and Amaya didn't update its file association settings, than it may be a bug. In my case, I've uninstalled the previous snapshot before installing this one (11.3pre1) and didn't select that extension: my ".htm" files are opening with Firefox, as expected. > That style of setup is to close to the Microsoft --- we know > what is right for you philosophy.
