Hi Martin, This new behaviour was introduced to help people used to word processors. It's called "text" mode, but the "xml" mode you have used for years is still available. You can change mode at any time by clicking the mode button in the bottom right corner of the window. This button always displays the current mode. For more details, check "Creating Elements" in the Help menu. Vincent.
