Nevertheless, another way to solve the problem could be to do as in other browsers i.e. to open a page rather that a dialog box. Moreover, in Firefox, this page gives explanations and advice about the "server not found" error (typo, proxy...) and a "reload" button. This could also be nice in Amaya.
