1. doc/amaya ------------ $ tar xvfz amaya-sources-9.54.tgz $ cd Amaya9.54/Amaya $ cat README Thot library and Amaya Thot is a generic system for the development of document-centered applications based on the concept of structured active documents. It can be used for building interactive system as well as automatic processors. Currently the open-source program using the Thot Library is Amaya (http://www.w3.org/Amaya). For more information about Amaya. see the README.amaya file and the documentation located in doc/amaya. $ ls doc WX html images $ i.e. no doc/amaya. (Read README.Amaya instead.) 2. GTK ------ $ ./configure --help ... --with-gtk use GTK GUI toolkit ... It would be better if it said instead "use GTK 1 GUI toolkit", with something to indicate that this is deprecated and will build an old release. Of course, it would be even better if a native GNOME version of Amaya was available, complete with an automatic list of available printers etc. John A. Murdie
