For information, Amaya 9.51 has been built in Debian unstable with gcc
4.1.1 this week, so it should work. However, I applied a few patches to
use shared libraries for OpenGL, wxWidgets and libWWW, plus one to fix the
build on 64 bits machines, which might explain why it works for me. Some
of the patches have been merged into the CVS (wxWidgets).

I suggest you try using the --enable-system-wx flag with the CVS version,
I know gcc 4.1 was not happy with wxWidgets at some point. I could send
you the patches if you prefer.
