Install Failure from Joshua Ferraro on 2005-01-04 (www-amaya@w3.org from January to March 2005)

I recently installed amaya on Fedora Core 3 using the yum package manager
and when I try to run the program I get the following error:

$ amaya
Gdk-ERROR **: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  serial 258 error_code 8 request_code 56 minor_code 0

I was unable to find any solutions to this error either in the archives
of this list or on the www.  Any suggestions?
