Here (below) is a long list of accessibility shortcut key combinations (taken from an Office Help File). It's pretty exhaustive, but a lot is already implemented, some of it won't be relevant or won't be possible to implement, and in any case no user knows all of these. In Amaya 9(Pre4) there is a problem with accessibility of the Tools task pane (on the left of the user interface): menus such as Attributes which used to be accessible from the main menu (File/Edit/XHTML/... etc.) and so used to have Alt- accelerator keys, are no longer accessible with the keyboard. The Office solution would be to use F6 to move to a task pane and then Tab to tab between the different "tabs" (XHTML, Attributes, Maths, XML...). But standard menu accelerator keys would do too (the little underlined letters you press with the Alt- key to select a menu). I would say that from the list below, the most common shortcuts are: Ctrl-c, Ctrl-v, Ctrl-x, Ctrl-y (redo), Ctrl-z (undo), Ctrl-i (for emphasis), Ctrl-b (for strong), Ctrl-o (for file open), Ctrl-s, F12 (save as), Ctrl-l (align left), Ctrl-r (align right), Ctrl-e (align centre), Ctrl-f (find), Ctrl-h (replace), Ctrl-j (justify), Ctrl-k (insert/modify hyperlink), Ctrl-a (select all, entire page), Alt-F4 (quit), Ctrl-F4 and Ctrl-w (close doc), F7 (spell), F5 (refresh), Shift-Enter, Alt-Ctrl-c (copyright symbol © - an Alt-Ctrl-e euro symbol € would be cool too!). Plus, it's very neat to be able to format heading levels with Alt-Ctrl-1, Alt-Ctrl-2, Alt-Ctrl-3, etc. Work with and manage Web pages CTRL+N Create a new web page CTRL+O Open a web page CTRL+F4 Close a web page CTRL+S Save a web page F12 Save as CTRL+P Print a web page F5 Refresh a web page CTRL+TAB Switch between open web pages ALT+F4 Quit CTRL+ SHIFT+8 Display non-printing characters CTRL+ / Display HTML tags CTRL+F Find text or HTML on a web page CTRL+H Replace text or HTML on a web page F7 Check spelling on a web page SHIFT+F7 Look up a word in the thesaurus ESC Cancel an action CTRL+Z or ALT+BACKSPACE Undo an action CTRL+Y or SHIFT+ALT+BACKSPACE Redo or repeat an action DELETE Delete a Web page or folder in the folder list or any dialog box BACKSPACE Move up one level Format text and paragraphs CTRL+SHIFT+F Change the font CTRL+SHIFT+P Change the font size CTRL+B Apply bold formatting (this should do <strong>..</strong>) CTRL+U Apply an underline CTRL+I Apply italic formatting (this should do <em>..</em>) CTRL+PLUS SIGN Apply superscript (superscript: Describes text that is slightly higher than other text on a line, such as a footnote reference mark.) formatting CTRL+MINUS SIGN Apply subscript (subscript: Describes text that is slightly lower than other text on a line.
