Most editors use a catch-all-OS graceful-degrade system for this: "arial,helvetica,sans-serif", "courier new, courier, monospace", "times new roman, times, serif". Geoffrey ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lars Bruzelius" <Lars.Bruzelius@home.udac.net> To: <www-amaya@w3.org> Sent: Monday, December 13, 2004 2:59 PM Subject: Font-family The font families available in the style dialogs are: - Times - Hevetica - Courier As fonts with these typefaces may not be installed on the target system, the listed typefaces should be replaced with the generic typeface families: - serif - sans-serif - monospace or at least: - Times, serif - Helvetica, sans-serif - Courier, monospace Ideally an advanced dialogue should enable the user to specify any font-family.
