amaya and windows 98

i guess the problem with the new version of Amaya and the Win98
platform is the lack of unicode support on the o/s.
hopefully after Amaya  9 is up and going for the mainstream platforms,
that you will have a look at MSLU (microshaft layer for unicode) to see
if it provides a viable solution.  it may become very difficult to support
two guis and i see the handwriting on the wall  but if win 98 can be
 adapted to the new gui, it would help some of us out.
