Did it stop working after a crash or after a 'normal' closure of the 
application (and do you remember what version stopped working yesterday) ?
Can you try to rename the directory where are stored the preferences 
(typically "Documents and Settings\<user-name>\amaya", kill the possible 
remaining amaya.exe process, and relaunch Amaya.
