The Amaya team is proud to announce the Amaya 4.0 release. Binaries (Solaris, Linux, Windows NT/2000 /95/98) are available at: http://www.w3.org/Amaya/User/BinDist.html Source is available at: http://www.w3.org/Amaya/User/SourceDist.html This version includes bug fixes and the following new features: - A collaborative annotation application based on W3C technologies (RDF, XLink, and XPointer) - SVG support - Upgrade to MathML 2.0 (presentation markup) - New XHTML basic and XHTML strict profiles - It's now possible to read and edit SVG (.svg) and MathML (.mml) files - XHTML, MathML, and SVG documents are now being parsed with the expat XML parser - Spanish translation of the Amaya dialogues and messages. - The on-line documentation is now available in both English and French Warning: The geometry of windows is now expressed in pixels. Users may have to update their configuration. To do so, use the Special/Preferences/Window Geometry menu and click in the "Restore default options" button.
