Section 5.4.3 'text-decoration' says: Value: none | [ underline || overline || line-through || blink ] the double vertical bars mean "non-exclusive or" (section 5.1 says "A double bar (A || B) means that either A or B or both must occur, in any order.") So, in CSS1 underline, overline, blink and line-through are NOT mutually exclusive.
