Hello, I don't know if the problem is already solved. Exists at least in Bugzilla (http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=8876)... The elements <QUESTION> and <ANSWER> are not defined in this DOCTYPE. Unfavourable way Amaya gives no error dialog, and adopted with a run-time error. Is it possible that Amaya generally intercepts unknown error instead of crashing (~ "An unknown error occurred. Possible cause is: ..."), and switch to code view? The document is wrong anyway. Todo: + Open the document using the editor with which it was created or modified! (Amaya can't currently) + Replace "<QUESTION>" and "<ANSWER>" in "?QUESTION?" and "!ANSWER!" (or "<QUESTION>"; and "<ANSWER>") If you have disabled the option "Check duplicated IDs" under "Settings" in Amaya, there is also a "green light" (bottom-right) [W3C validator shows: "Result: 1108 Errors, 1 warning(s)"] Regards Jörg Windows Vista SP2, XP SP3
