Hello Irene, others, When trying to work on a Japanese translation, we have found that between e.g. 9.5 and 9.55, there are quite some differences in the message catalog files. In these files, each item has a number, but between verions, the numbers change, some items get added (mostly at the end, but not necesarily, it seems) and some items get deleted (rather than leaving a number blank, the next items are moved down). Can you tell me exactly what the update policy is for these catalogs? To be concrete, how can we transfer some primary translations made for 9.5 to 9.55 without messing things up? Is there a list of corresponding numbers, or a program that does the conversion somewhere? Many thanks in advance, Martin. #-#-# Martin J. Du"rst, Assoc.
