math functions in Amaya

I suspect the next release will come just before the MathML
conference.  I find that working math from a pull down menu 
is awkward.  Is there plans to setup a sidebar template or toolbar
  that one can pick from easily. It could be turned on/off with the 
 math icon on the toolbar.
