feedback on cache flush

the cache flush operation lacks feedback about status/completion.
when i press the flush button. the button stays pressed
a minimal feedback would be to unpress the button on completion
--- no need for sound effects  but this would entertain those
        netsurfers who think web-radio makes sense :-)    ;-0
